Soccer The soccer team, directed by Coach Homer Earll, com- pleted an encouraging season with a winning 5-4-1 record. Although there were a number of freshmen on the squad, the team was able to develop the necessary teamwork for a balanced attack. As the season neared the halfway point, the Terror booters had posted a disappointing one and three mark. During the remainder of the season every- thing seemed to come together, as the team exploded with a 4-1-4 record. This impressive string was highlighted by the 2-2 tie with highly favored Loyola. The Terror boot- ers exerted constant pressure on these perennial Mason- Dixon champions, who could do little but score two sec- ond-half goals to gain the tie. Future seasons look bright since the team will lose only five seniors and will have much needed depth and experi- ence that has previously been lacking. 84
