Hockey The outstanding spirit and skill of the freshmen, along with the experience and determination of the upper- classmen, gave Miss Weyers optimism that this season's hockey team would fare better than last year's. And for the first time enough enthusiasm was shown to field a junior varsity team. Unfortunately, Lady Luck frowned upon them with bad weather and numerous injuries. Despite its strong de- fense, the varsity failed to win a game; and the junior varsity met the same fate. The last three games were cancelled because of bad weather, and thus denied the girls the chance to taste victory. VARSITY HOCKEY (Won 0, Lost 3, Tied 1) WMC Opponents o .
