Dr. Arthur Schlesinger Dr. Arthur Schlesinger, the historian who had been called "among the foremost in the new gen- eration of vigorous social thinkers," was the guest lecturer here on January 11, 1967. "The World We Wanl-and How to Get It" was the topic of his lecture. He emphasized that the survival of the world depends on events oc- curring far from the borders of the United States. Dr. Schlesinger also expressed his opinions on the questions of Red Chinese admission to the United Nations, the plight of underdeveloped na- lions, and the consequence of bombings on North Vietnam.
