Dear Woodrow Fazool, Since we haven't seen you in several months, I thought I'd fill you in on the latest that has happened to yOUT brothers here at Delta Pi Alpha. We started off the year by seeing two of our brothers- Mike Beach and Jay Sybert-get elected as co-captains of the 1966 Green Terrors. We all celebrated by throwing a good drunk. Good tidings once again visited the Beachs as we hon- ored Joanne as our new 1966ยท1967 sweetheart. Picture that-a smiling sweetheart and a dissipated ogre of a football captain. We were lucky this year to receive two fine pledge classes for the price of one. And everyone of them seems destined to carryon the same "good old preacher name," Once again the gang took off for Daytona to spread the name of Western What far & wide. We should receive a bill for repairs shortly. Several of our brothers have succeeded at their snake hunts and gotten pinned or engaged. For a classified list, please consult our newsletter for this year. To end this letter on a happy note. T can only say that the prognosis for the future looks like the preachers will keep their lasting image and remain "individuals" yet "brothers" for many years to come. Fraternally yours, ?
