Rifle Team The rifle team on the "Hill" has guns and has traveled far toward rebuilding the great squad it had in recent years. The loss of top rifleman Wayne Holter and Dick Brawley with graduation last year has been somewhat offset by the promising performance of "steady" Ron Poore and Sophomore Jan Seihler. Diligently coached by Master Sergeant Crawford Coyner and managed by Charles Pugh, the team be- came the third Terror aggregation to defeat Hopkins in sports in the fall of 58! Sergeant Coyner instituted the "coach and pupil" method of practice, having hopes that it will pay dividends in the future. Meanwhile his standout performers, the team captain Carl- ton White, and high point man Ken Nickoles, continued to pace the squad. Nickoles, a senior firing as high as 285, finished out a noteworthy career in collegiate marksmanship. His per- formance is one of the reasons we can well be proud of our rifle team.
