MARIE PARKER ROSELDA TODD The women's athletic program at Western Maryland is of an intramural character which aims to reach every girl by some game or sport. Every girl who comes out for a sport is placed on one of her class teams in that sport. The teams are chosen on the basis of attendance at practice, skill, physical fitness, and sportsmanship. This year, as the sports season opened with the hockey competition, the seniors and sophomores were the outstanding contenders for the championship.
