ยท Over the Edge
Maturity is a hard step to take.
One stands, faltering on the verge,
Hesitating over relinquishing his childhood.
I stood there once.
It was a very narrow line between the loss of innocence
and the acquisition of perception.
I chose to stay behind.
You encouraged my folly with immature reassurance,
With words you would have wished to hear.
When you abandoned me, I was alone. .
Without knowing, you drove me to the edge once again,
But this time, I plummeted,
Headstrong and determined to make my own way
Without you.
