His shirt was unbuttoned
slightly, revealing a
lush tuft of hair.
His lips were parted
in a seductive smile
and he winked as
a paisley tie
fell to the bed.

I once dissected
a paisley tie.

She's gone now, and I miss her.
She is an actress.
She wanted to go to New York, to practice her craft. She was willing
to starve, if that's what it took.
She was always too stubborn. She never listened to the director, and
had to have things her way, like a spoiled movie star who would
threaten to quit if she didn't like a certain costume.
But I've watched her become a character like no one else could.
She was a true actress.
The stage was her slave; and she, its master.
She had beautiful, mysterious cat-green eyes that could express
every emotion, and even create new ones.
She had been hurt many times.
But our director told us to ~ our negative experiences ... so she
did. She used her pain to create real feelings. She was never fake.
Now she's gone. She left one day, without telling a soul. I wonder
where she is.
Is she a nsing actress?
Or a fallen star?
