EDITOR'S NOTE

Contrast is about being apart and yet together. It is about
existing in the same space while standing separately from one
another. This magazine is a gathering of differences: different
minds, words, feelings, and hearts. Each piece can stand alone,
a remarkable representation of each of the creators in all of their
varying ways.

And yet, as we're sure you'll find, it is so much more beautiful
to have them all standing together.

What an extraordinary thing it is, for humans to be able to
express ourselves so poignantly through words. Isn't it lovely
to let your eyes wander across a page and live a different life
for a time? We invite you to adventure through the stories you
are about to read, to step into the shoes of the writers that have
opened their hearts through the written word.

Take a stroll through each work of art, but remember to stand
back and admire it all once you've finished.
