THE DALI

                                                  Put your face into Dali's
                                                  brown toned painting, there
where there is a place for you
on the empty horse, gross red
rivers of hell shall bleed out
of you, and murder will circle
                                                  you like ugly buzzards.
                                                  On six black stallions you
                                                  and your ugly friends will
                                                  ride, making deserts with
                                                  the ashes of gallant soldiers,
                                                  and hard dirt plains with
                                                  the bodies of men,
                                                  grossly deceived.
The dead bush behind you will
                                                  burst into a thousand satanic
                                                  swords, staffs of lightless fire
                                                  contorted in the desert
                                                  of Dali. But
                                                  ride fast my friend, for
                                                  the painter is almost
                                                  finished.

                                                                                             D. Wilson
