2 Part Poem For a Decline In Emotion 29
I SPIT SPOT
I am losing you spit
rapidly, spot
Though I see you everyday, dimity panes
colors running, blurring
losing you invisibly, emerging halfselves
indifferently, blinded to detail
vague humanity
An erosion caused by closeness, egg-dye fantasy
(As the ocean wears the shore away) anonymity by choice
You are slipping from me, sacred space
Though I hold you fast, violator unheeded
(As the sun slides down, like a single raindrop
and I fix it with a stare, absorbed
and it seems shower of humanity
to be going nowhere- defined limits of freedom '
then it's gone.) screaming individuality
inner purpose
II masses here of necessity
So this is the end of love personal pleasure
spit
everyone writes about-
A quick dash from a cliff, spot
(Torrie Armour)
But a slow fall.
