i. A man kneels, bound hand and foot. He pulls
against his bonds, writhes, mutters ...curses ... 0
finally screams--a long, long scream. He V
slumps as if dead. .>
ii. Enter a stranger. He crosses the stage and \./
calmly unties the man. Slowly the freed man
sits up, moves his limbs wonderingly. Then 1.
joyfully leaps to his feet. He springs as if
to go; halts, puzzled, feels the air. f
Man: But it is dark, I cannot see. h
Stranger: You must take off the blindfold for yourself. e

high in the wind the banners flew
stars and stripes, the red white and blue a
the people of god, love and peace
have given democracy and freedom a new lease r)
yes of america's path we can be proud and sure
when this week in vietnam we've killed one-thousand d.
