A Protest Against the Abolition of Man ~

i. A man kneels, bound hand and foot. He pulls
against his bonds, writhes, mutters ...curses ... 0
finally screams--a long, long scream. He V
        slumps as if dead. .>

ii. Enter a stranger. He crosses the stage and \./
calmly unties the man. Slowly the freed man
sits up, moves his limbs wonderingly. Then 1.
joyfully leaps to his feet. He springs as if
to go; halts, puzzled, feels the air. f

Man: But it is dark, I cannot see. h

Stranger: You must take off the blindfold for yourself. e
