of Russian Roulette players appear every day In the obituary column.
I once had a friend who became very proficient at the sport. He
worked his way all the way up to the finals, where he competed for the
Russian Roulette Championship of the World. It was a beautiful
funeral. I can't remember when I've ever seen so many lovely flowers,
I'm sure he would have enjoyed it.

Russian Roulette is also a contributor to peace. After all, can
you think of anything more peaceful than the silence that follows a
game of Russian Roulete? If you have an argument with a friend,
don't disturb the peace by fighting it out with words or even fists.
Simply suggest a game of Russian Roulette. You will find that this
not only settles the argument, but also removes the possibility of its
recurrence.

It is surprising that, despite the fact that Russian Roulette is both
democratic and contributive to peace, it is not very popular in the
United States. Its companion sports, such as reckless driving and
driving under the influence of alcohol, are enjoying marvelous success,
however. Statistics show that fifty per cent of all persons participat-
ing in Russian Roulette never play the game again. The cause of
this sudden loss of interest puzzles me.

THE COMING OF NIGHT
The earth was quiet, still, seemingly asleep,
But above, a crown of brilliant burning life floated silently in majestic
triumph.
Like foaming ocean waves, the brilliant puffs mingled with the burn-
ing beams.
Behind the smokey foam, a golden coin sent forth a glow radiating
the heavens with fiery splendor.
Streams of reddish-yellow waters trickled o'er the blue beyond and
faded into veils of pink chiffon.
Like colored streamers waving in a gentle breeze, the waters of reddish-
yellow ran softly into the foam of fires,
and with a dimming glow,
melted into the blackness of night.
