Men's Basketball Taking the helm for the first year, Head Coach Jay Dull took the first steps of building Western Maryland into a conference power. However, the team was plagued by injuries losing star sophomore Sam Anstead for the season in the second game. WMC would also lose 2 other starters to injury and coach Dull would be forced to make regular changes to the starting line-up. In the end Western Maryland posted a 6-19 mark. The team appeared to grasp coach Dull's system near the end of the season as the Terror nearly pulled an upset over conference champion Gettysburg. Jack Kowalik proved to be the team's most lethal shooter while 6'9" center Jon Pearson proved to be WMC's most dominant inside 66
