Peer Mentor Mission Statement We will work together to become a team of good leaders to execute a well planned first-year program. We will facilitate good communication between students and the professor of the first-year seminar, and encourage students to develop the skills and knowledge expected within the course. We will strive to create a supportive environment where each peer mentor is respected and equipped to be an effective leader- one who helps new students to feel connected both socially and academically to the college community.
