75 Years of ROTC at WMC This year has been a special one in more ways than one for ROTC. The program has increased its enrollment to the highest it has been in the past five years, and placed eleventh out of thirty-one teams at the Brigade Ranger Challenge Shoorour, a major feat for one of the smallest programs in the country. Most notable. however, is that this year marks 75 years of ROTC at WMC. ROTC does not only provide exceptional instruction in the field of military science, but also provides a wide array of activities for its members to choose from. Some of the favorites: Color Guard, Adventure Training, Ranger Challenge Competition. Rappelling, Gettysburg Tour, Field Training at Army Posts, Parachute Training, Helicopter Assault Training. Rifle Marksmanship, and more. At right: Master Sergeant McLaughlin and Cadet Melissa Summers at the Open House during Parent's Weekend 20 Campus Life
