Senior defen- sive back Rick Conner led the Centennial Conference in Kickoff and Punt returns, At the end of the season, it was announced that Conner was selected as the Most Valu- able Player of the Centennial Conference. Senior wide receiver Rich Johnson set several new records this season including: most points in a season, most receptions in a season, and most yards in a season. Rich was selected to All-Centennial Conference team. Dale Dutton, Benson Grove, Bob Butler, Lance Hammell, and Dennis Oltman led the line attack, while Ralph Frith, and Pat Luce had outstanding seasons as defensive backs. Junior quarter- back Ray Evans set records for most completions and most yards in a game.
