Tri-Beta, the biology honor society, had a very productive year. The usual meetings once a BETA BETA BETA month included speakers on various topics perti- nent to the study of Biology in today's world. The spring semester brought the first induction banquet held in the President's Dining Room. The society inducted fifteen new active mem- bers and eight new associative members, dou- bling the total membership. Committees were also formed to design showcases to be displayed in the Biology Department and the Library. The year ended with the writing of the alumni news- letter and the annual spring picnic.
