Delta Pi Alpha Preachers The "Preachers" experienced 1977-78 as another suc- cessful year under their banner of purple and gold. The members of Delta Pi Alpha busied themselves with raffling off a wagon of cheer and sponsoring a cafeteria party. Although "Preacher" parties were few and far between, they were always crowded with people in search of a rowdy time. The "Preachers" membership grew with a large spring pledge class which came in handy for hamburger - selling at the Spring Carnival and for serenading the ladies on campus. With the leadership of Presidents Paul Fulton and AI Mezzanote the "Preach- ers" enjoyed a luau and the Hell's Angels picnic. The 1978-79 year looks promising for the continued devel- opment of their organization Il 1T A 86
