As I look back over these last four years, I realize how many lives have crossed paths and have left an impact on others. The changes thaI we all have undergone are in many ways the results of the experience called "college." The innumerable coincidences and happenings that we all have experienced have in one way or another shaped and expanded our personalities, so that we are what we are today. What we are and what I am today are only intermediate products, yet to be further refined. There is so much that we all must do to ensure that whatever potential within us is realized to the greatest possible extent It is to those individuals with whom I have shared these four years that I say "thanks." In your own ways you have made an impact on me, and enriched my life immeasurably. Life on the Hill is learning about people and about yourself. It is for discovering your strengths as well as you fallacies. Without this knowledge we cannot begin to understand ourselves, much less other people, and we fall prey to stagnation and perceptual inertness. It is our responsibility to fully utilize the opportunities made available to us through human interactions, and to develop our potential and out abilities to the greatest possible extent This is the greatest challenge of all, as well as the most necessary one. The dynamic and most essential element of this challenge is our need for people. Only through other people can we discover and understand ourselves Sally Stanfield
