Lacrosse is a hard, fast game adopted from the North American Indians. The players are equipped with sticks that have a net at one end. The object of the game is to throw, scoop, Dr kick a small rubber ball into the opposing Lacrosse other. The game, with its goals, sticks, manner team's goaL Opposing players may block each of play, and penalty system closely resembles ice hockey. It has been n long lime since WMC has fielded a lacrosse team. This is the start of what we hope will be a perennial spring sport here. With only two seniors 011 the team- starting defensemen Dave Doss and like Preston-the chances of this happening ep- pear good. The experience the learn gets this year will greatly payoff in the near future. The starting lineup consisted of ettackmen Carey Wolfson, Joel Smith, Will Davis; mid- fielders Bill Gibson, Joel Goldblatt, Carol Yingling or Dan Gottlieb; defensemen Dave Doss, Mike Preston, Jim Resau; and goalie Al Kempske.
