The ROTC Department acquired a new look this year. The new PMS, Colonel Ross and his staff, along with the cadet battalion staff, com- ROTC pletely restructured the general format of drill. Now, nobody knows where anybody is or should were com- be. The rreshmen pletely lost, as usual; and sophomores were always the juniors doing something different; and the seniors only added to the confusion. Wllile Major Fogler, Captain Holder and SgL Major Lancaster be- wildered everyone in class, the seniors, led by "Hey, Doc, do I ge' a lollipop?" Waghelstein and Sybert, managed to function equally well on Hoffa Field. GIlJldy and Carter told everyone where 10 go, while Moler and Riker wandered aimlessly through the battle- field records of Chipyong-Ni and the discarded history notes of a certain discarded individual But despite the confusion, a greater interest prevailed in the ROTC program, a greater un- derstanding of the role of the military evolved, and a greater appreciation of educated leaders and their responsibilities as officers began to emerge.
