Sororities inaugurated a new plan of bidding and rushing based on national systems. Preference cards, prefer- ence lists, preference teas, and preference matching guided membership drives and improved intersorority relations. With a newly revised constitution, a bowling tournament, an assembly, and an open house for freshmen, the Intersorority Council continued to further sorority life on the hill. 192
