SOPHOMORE Returning from vacations crammed with new experiences, but to renew old ones, we quickly found our niche on the Hill, and eagerly made plans Kit Week, when we could act sternly. Before many days, we were swept into sorority and fraternity pledging, which we overcame with a minimum of nerve strain and 11 maximum of fun and energy. Here we ex- perienced the feel.ng of betngu "member"-. an integral part of something full of intangi- bles and wonderful associations. In rapid succession we discovered the rest of the wcrld had continued to surge on. Courses were no longer "geared to the Fresh- man level." So we dug in deeper and did two weeks' work in one in order to catch up with our professors.
