It is their philosophy of living that gives inspiration to our college goals and our personal ambitions ... they suggest the design of our building. We become the builders. Weare busy in a scaffold of courses and activities: as individual workers we pursue a problem in physics or English; as a team we attack a junior follies production or some fighting Blue Jays; our breaks we devote to songs and serenades. Work leads to a strength which cements the structure. And we pause often in this labor to give praise and thanksgiving for the opportu- nity to create our own foundation. We will grow, each of us, into a com- pleted bUilding-independent, responsi- ble, curious, and humble. In four years we have collected many memories to tuck into this, our cornerstone ... the laughter and chatter of the grille, the excitement of a dance, and the freedom of a walk over the Hill. We remember the "love matches" as well as the debates-whether or not to study! We studied, but what we learned wasn't always in bocks. Now we graduate, and a new 110rizon is ours. Here in the ALOHAour foundation is reconstructed ... as we continue to build for tomorrow. 9
