CAPTAIN DRUGASH With only five lettermen lost from last year's diamond squad, Charlie Havens found himself entering the 1939 season with a team that needed bolstering in only a few places. The strongest mound squad in years returned to hurl a tough twenty-game schedule. A veteran infield combination returned and the only replacements needed for the losses by graduation were a first string catcher and a couple of fast outfielders. At the time of this writing, the pitching roster of Catington, Cook, Barkdoll, Cole, and Smith looks to stack up well against any in the State. On the receiving end, Marbury Linton is the only holdover from last year.
