CHARLOTTE'S career on the Hill has been one of steady accomplishment, as is so unques- tionably shown by her scholastic record; but study- ing is merely an avocation for her. You might be surprised at her exceedingly high interest in the best orchestras and the latest tunes, but this propensity can be explained by her extensive "western" correspondence. W.
