A.: Hiking Club; Cress Basketball '21, '27 "A cheerful temper, joined with innocence will ma~e becury attractive, Itnow!edge delightftd, and wit good-nctuted." EHOLD! One of the fairest maidens of '27. "Tt-Ci" made her first appear- B ance on College Hill in September 1923 and from that very time she has been loved and has won the admiration of those who have the oppor- tunity of making her acquaintance. Thelma has put forth no conscious effort to make herself popular-c-rhat charm is inborn. One of her greatest virtues is kindness. No matter how busy she is, she always has time to be sympathetic to those in trouble-Land the fact that she strives for no earthly reward makes her character all the more beautiful. "Ti-Ci's" strike comes from out of town. That seems an insignificant fact, but means volumes. For it permitted "Ti-Ci" to indulge in Sunday Automobile rides, and who knows how many chicken waffle dinners! It was up to Thelma to hold up the reputation of '27 in athletics when it came to inter-class games. With a turn and a twist she was away from her guard and the ball was through thebasket and another score for '27. Nor is "Ti-Ci' composed of merely strikes and athletics. She could partici- pate in and carry through to a hilarious end as much dormitory fun as anyone "Ti-Oi" the crystal ball spells a "rip-roaring" success for you. pag~ fifty.oue I THEeLOH!)IS2.7I ~
