Resume of the 1926 football Season UR 1926 football season was t~c best that Western Maryland hits ever O had. The team some ot the best College teams in rhe Easr, and amassed a total point~ to their opponents 30 The season opened with a game with G-Burg. One of our old rivals and to the the football fans, Western Maryland came home ,"vith their Dickenson met with like defeat. Swarthmore was opponents two weeks later at Swarthmore, Pn Holy Cross was our 11<;"t and our only defeat of the season. We closed the season at Lewisburg, Pa. with a great victory over Our old rival, Bucknell, in which the Terrors made up for two previous defeats In all this season W;tS the most successful ever enjoyed and we wish them even more success for the coming year p
