Preface In publishing this book we have in view two aims; first, to reestablish a worthy custom that has beeĀ» neglected for the past six years, and second, to portray in lasting form tho remembrences of QUI' college Course. \Yo do not claim any par- ticular literary merit for this effort but at the same time we present the book as its own apology. The diffiouluies attendant upon a work of this kind coincident with the regular college exercises are too evident to require exposition here. 'We have endeavored to make it representative of the college atmosphere, ill all its phases including athletic, social, and intellectual interests. We hope at least to suggest many of the wholesome features of OUr college days ill such a way that they will remain fresh in the memory in years to come. THE EI)['rORS.
