The Problem
Morning, day and night
struggling to make clear
no misconception, ever so slight
to those held dear
in such a way
so as to allay
a beautiful woman's thoughts
natural though they be.
Presents can't be bought
to make them see
the goal is friendship.
Just that simple relation
no toss of hip, nor touch of lip
certainly no copulation.
