The breeze softly kissing the underside of the leaves
in the tree where a nightengale whispers the evening down.
The tide ebbing back to the home it's always held.
Candlelight flickering images, dum thus (then) great.
A snowflake that dances to who knows where,
but gets there gently undetected.
The flowing orange hue of a full, unblemished Pacific sunset
Take all from my memory,
though are wonderous in my mind,
for moments you are present-
love is always blind.

transient, muted green and gold s.a. sommers
does nature in creation fold
hidden deep within they breast
burst quickly forth at spring's behest
forsythia in the garden bloom
though all will 'ventually come to doom
the purple crocus gently weep
as daffodils wake from winter'S sleep
all awaken as infant joy cries
while robins sing 'cross azure skies
wild creeks and raging rivers swell
will man return? 'tis too soon to tell
