Through your white darkness
I strain for the rh~ hm
You sent the mist to test me
But I know its source and thus detect your presence
The air br-irg s me home
Even tho\)9h it is net your domain
it suit s your purpose so you make your claim
Fach breath necessitates anether yet deeper
And so you draw me
As the oaken attraction of a mariner to the sea
I need your salt.
Frothy mouthed horses
Frolically dance the shore
Recede with bubbly laugpter
And reveal litt le more
Your fine animals invite me to clutch their foamy manes
As if they migpt really carry me
To the domain I have need of
Yet you guard your depths well
I care not to steal the treasures
That lie beneath your Cerberus steeds
I only wish to touch the midriign t blue with silken sail
And bring light to the pearls
Tha t long to share thei r brilliance below
Can you find my latern?
vtibrant glowing aura
Of rosy-fingered dawn
Rises but to find
Ponies thundering on
As the deceptive shroud melts into morning reacn
r be sun chariet mounts the sky illumina ting truth's torch
But you mock enen the golden orb
Mimicking her sparkle
Reflecting her image so that yours migpt remain dark
Still the scent of salt. ~remains
Yet now its softness Sings like a siren
I long to swim out to where the sun's jewels are tossed about
I dare not
I knowZ. would be trampled
Ligpt may not brigpten your depths unless you raise them within
Be kind to the great gold one
Her Light. is far brLgnter- than mine
Her gift is more glorious than yours
for she allows her sands to fall where they might never be r-ecap;ured
