Goldie died He did
Goldie fell in the tub and
he's broke
his hip he did.
never recovered he dead.
Goldie used to sit in Downes Dr~gs on North Ave and
catch the choc1ate boys stealing vanilla ice cream 9 to 5.
He called the long haired hippie boy Jesus Christ
all through turkey dinner he yelled
"Cut your cock off" he did.
Goldie couldn't read or work except to count his
monthly checks and his tickets at the track
He knew the odds and could spot you a wet one
an 1/8 furlong away
Goldie ain't around for long
He died trying to get clean he did.
