bodies of water helping to make the river what it is. The educated
person never allows himself to become contented with only that which
he has learned in school, but he is constantly refilling his mind with
new thoughts from many sources.

Old rivers generally flow slowly through level regions meandering
over the land. An elderly professor is typically pictured as a person
rich in thoughts, which when expressed hold a wealth of wisdom. He
endeavors to mold the mind of lively youth, so that the younger per-
son can present his ideas clearly and meaningfully after hours of
thoughtful study.

All rivers, no matter which type they may be, have one goal-to
find the way eventually to the largest body of water, the ocean. As we
advance in life, whatever the path we follow or whatever our course
may be, we too are seeking to find our way in the ocean of humanity.
Through education, we may find and give the very best of ourselves
to keep peace as we face each wave on the sea of life.
