Baseball Western Maryland returns a solid group of veterans as they head into the 2002 season, including 2001 All-Centennial Designated Hitter, Todd Huber, and All-Centennial pitcher Jeff Starcher. Huber leads an explosive offense that set a school record for runs in an inning, putting up 14 runs in the 5th inning at Lincoln University. Starcher finished the 2001 season with a 1.87 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 53 innings of work. 74
