Alpha Kappa Delta is the International Sociology Honor Society. WMC's chapter was newly formed in the Spring of 2000. AKD is ded icated to the study of Sociology, the research of social problems, and the social and intellectual activities that encourage both of these missions. The Alpha Mu Chapter of Beta Beta Bela was founded in 1924 and is one of the oldest in the country. The purpose of this chapter is to form an honor society for undergraduates in the biological sciences. Its goals are to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment and investigation in the biological sciences, and to inform students of the possibilities for achievement in the biological sciences. Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed service fraternity that strives to volunteer on the campus, community, and national levels. In addition, they promote fellowship and enhance leadership skills. S.
