Spears Black Student Union is one of the largest organizations on campus. Theclub is dedicated to understanding the heritage of the various black cultures of the world that have originated in Africa. It's goal is to educate and serve as a support system for the campus through networking programs and activities such as the Homecoming Parade,a trip to the Blacks in Wax Museum,and various celebrations during Martin Luther King, Jr.'5 birthday and Black History Month. The Hispano Latino Alliance works across campus to promote Hispano-Latino culture through activities and events.
