She was a member of the WMC fac- ulty since [978. Dr. Badiee was an interna- tionally recognized authority on Islamic Art During her years at Western Maryland, she organized and maintained the College's 15,000 art slides. In 1996, Dr. Badiee was the first recipient of the Ira O. Zepp Award for Distinguished Teaching.
