SPRING FLING - IT was a SCReam! Every spring at Western Maryland, tension builds as the end of another year approaches. Last minute projects to finish, senior sems to write, jobs and internships to find ...all of these thins add up to a completely stressed student body in desperate need of a stress-reducing weekend. So, on Saturday, May 2, WMC took a break. The day started with clubs and organizations setting up tables in the forum to promote their groups and to raise some money. Bands also played throughout the afternoon to entertain the WMC crowd. Although many events were inside due to the threat of rain, others, like the inflatable rock climb, were outside where the rain drizzle couldn't dampen the fun in the air. Friends gathered in the quad and outside the dorms where they played games and enjoyed this last weekend before finals. As evening approahed, students found their way to GLAR for an indoor picnic. After a brief break in activity, students then gathered again in the forum for the last band ofthe day. Dancing until the early hours of the morning, another Spring Fling comes to an end and studetns return to their rooms to get sleep before they go back to STRESSING OUT' 24
