Whether watchingorplaying, sportsprovide a diversion from the everyday hassles of academic life. At Western Maryland College, there are sense of school spirit. This competition leads to team solidarity which encourages friendships on and off the field. Solidarity is key when facing tough competition, and WMC has used this to stand up to its challenges with some memorable victories. Together, the WMC athletes have provided a great deal of excitement around campus. Everyone has memories of that one defining moment when everything was put on the line for the taste of victory.
