True Effort WOMEN'S SOCCER The Green Terror women's soccer squad played with inten- UMBC sity throughout the 1989 season, but a seven-match losing MESSIAH streak in the middle of the year doomed its chances for a Wilkes winning record. Head coach Joan Weyers's team, in just its F&M third season of varsity competition, finished 4-13 overall and NOTRE DAME was 0-5 in the Middle Atlantic Conference-Western Division. Mary Washington CLUB HOPKINS JOHNS Senior tri-captain Lori Clow topped the team in scoring for CatholiC the second time in three years with eight goals and four assists Swarthmore for 20 points. She is the school's career scoring leader with 33 ELIZABETHTOWN goals and 19 assists for 85 points. Gettysburg Tied for the runner-up spot in scoring were sophomore Dickinson RANDOLPH·MACON Amye Walker and freshman Michelle Miller (four goals, three MARYMOUNT assists, 11 points), whilefreshman Allison Belli and sophomore Goucher Jenn Gordon each had 10 points.
