Investiture and Honors Convocation, held on the fourth day of May, began with the graduating seniors marching into Baker Memorial Chapel. Choral presentations, sung by the college's concert chotr.fotlowed. It is a tradition that the school's president robes the class president, this year it was Sharon Eimer. The Superintendent of Baltimore City Schools, Alice Pinderhughes. came to give afew remarks to the audience who nearly Jilled the pews of the chapel. An honorary degree was awarded to Ms. Pinderhughes. This is also a lime when recipients of various awards are recog- nized whether they be academic. leadership. activity, faculty, or alumni awards.
