FOOD, GAMES, MUSlC. These words and many others call be used to describe this year's May Day. Occurring onthe first weekend in May. May Day is traditionally a pre-exam, end of the year party. CAP Board Sponsors the all- day party and this year, the event was organized by graduating seniors Nancy Sekira and Sharon Eimer. This year's celebration was a great suc- cess. Entertainment was provided throughout the early afternoon by groups such as WMC's own performing group Sounds Of Silence and student singers Joel Tyberg and Nicolle Gaines. Comedian David Nash took center stage in the 100eafternoon. The popular Skip Castro Band provided mustc after a pic- nic dinner. The evening was capped off by a fireworks display at sunset, Members of the school population, as well as the Westminster community. en- joyed the day's festtvutes, "c/ow/'! 125
