GRADUATION Dr. Ralph C. John, president of WMC, was the speaker at the l14th Commencement on Saturday, May 26. He delivered a speech entitled, "From the Threshold", to the 377 graduates. Approximately 279 undergraduates received bachelor of arts degrees and another 109 stu- dents received master of education, master of liberal arts and master of science degrees. This was Dr. Ralph John's last commencement at Western Maryland College. The ceremony took place in the new Physical Education Fa- cility on campus. 200
