WMC BASEBALL 1984 TAKES MAC TITLE The Western Maryland Baseball Team ended their season in style in 1984. For the first time in the school's history, the team came away with the Middle Atlantic Con- ference Championship. The team was coached by Dave Seibert and asst. coach Dan Fielder. Senior co- captains Rich Johnson and Ray Thompson had good seasons and helped to hold the team together. Junior Jeff Weyer was selected to the first team, All-Conference Team. Jeff was also selected as the team's Most Valuable Player. The success of this year's team can be attributed to the brother-like relationship that existed between the members of the team and the front, I to r - J. Haymaker, T. Ewing, P. Mariano, S.
