Phi Sigma Sigma Kim Cooper Sherry McClurg is the only national sorority on campus. Michele Dansereau Virginia Macieay Phi Sigma Sigma has many advantages Kay Davis Ruth Malone that a local sorority can not offer. There Beth Devries Maggie Mules are many scholarships available for Sue Garman Kathy Nebel those sisters that want to go on to gra- Mimi Griffin Julie Olsted duate school. Another advantage of Phi Tricia Griffiths Pam Owen Sigma Sigma is the conventions and Robin Hoff Sue Padgett leadership training seminars that are Maria Kamm Kathy RosvoJd held every summer. Phi Sigma Sigma Rachel Kefauver Ann Sowers has chapters located throughout the en' Lori Keen Meredith Traugott tire country. This gives tha sisters a common bond with people in other areas when they are traveling and if they eventually move out of the area. Some of the chapters in this area are PHI located at Towson, U.M. College Park, and U.M.B.C. Sisters here at Western Maryland CoJlege have been able to be- SIGMA come especiaJly close to the sisters at these chapters. As a stter of Phi Sigma Sigma, I can only add that being a memo ber of this national sorority had added SIGMA tremendous benefits to the sisterhood found in a sorority.-·Cindy Bell 162
