"' , , Snow is no fun unless you really get into it. Exclusive Westminster Coverage Snow covered the Western Mary- land campus during most of the 1978- 79 winter months. Movement around campus was never easily accom- plished, and for the first time in many, many years a day of school was can- celled. Going to classes was often a true challenge. Sleepy students trudging to I 8 a.m. classes found plowing their way through the snow an aggravating experience, trying to maintain balance on sidewalks was even more difficult. The snow provided lots of enter- tainment as well as frustration. Stu- dents "trayed" on the golf course, played tackle-frisbee, threw snowballs and generally had a great time. Sometimes just walking is a chore. 41
