Comparative Literature No doubt expecting a traditional freshmen English se- quence, they were somewhat shaken with the heady mix- ture of science, writing, economics, history, and the arts Donna Evergates Kathy Mangan (10) that faced them in a high-powered, high-speed, 3-hour Stephan Newman (5) course. The 28 English majors in the Class of 1979 also Del Palmer (8) arrived in time to begin an entirely new sequence of Nancy Palmer (3) courses in their own department. This class has feasted LeRoy Panek (1) Susan Panek (2) from a Chinese menu of courses. We trust they were Raymond Phillips, Jr. (12) substantial, we know thay were varied and fresh, we hope, Keith Richwine - Dept. Head (7) paradoxically, that you'll be hungry 2 hours later.
