WMC Celebrates Homecoming Western Maryland had a sunny Homecoming day on October 29, 1977, in keeping with the theme, "Natural Beauty." The day began with the traditional parade on Main Street, with the Sophomore Class taking "best float" honors for their entry, "Shine On Harvest Moon." Special guest for the parade and the half-time show was the U.S Marine Corps Band from Quantico, Va. The Terror foot- ball team faced Dickinson and lost, 14-20, after a well fought game, while the WMC Pep Band provided support from the stands. WTTR broadcasted the game live for those fans that did not make it back to the Hill. 110
